facing eviction after bankruptcy and foreclosure

We received a sale date for our house and filed for bankruptcy. Bankruptcy finished 2 months earlier than anticipated. Have been pushing sale date back, but now it is set for mid-Feb. My husband has been trying to do a loan mod and is talking to NACA, but I'm worried about being homeless. How fast can they kick us out of our house?

Normally, the eviction/foreclosure process takes anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks, if it's quick. It can take 3 to 6 months.

I've seen people stall for a year.


I knew one couple that stalled it for 18 months!
