F Visa F1 to H1B - Complex situation Help needed

HI,

I plan on graduating in May 2008. (Bachelors of Science - Engineering) i have a few problems/concerns that I cant seem to figure out a solution for.

1) I graduate in May 2008. i assume I get a job offer in March and send my H1B application for 2008. Can I do this without receiving an actual degree?

2) Start my OPT in May which will expire in MAy209. I will send my application for H1B in April 2009. What happens to my status from May to September/October (until I receive my visa)
What are some solutions?

3) Can I go on full time CPT if I enroll for an online degree?

Please advise. I am really confused at this point.

--------It depends on your job and company policy. Most companies would use your OPT first given they have many people pending on HIB already.

---------------They have provisions for a transitional period from when you they apply for you. So let them worry about it.

3) Can I go on full time CPT if I enroll for an online degree?
--------No, there are limits to online degrees for international students. Check with your school…..
