My step grandmother died May 2004 and her children are the trustees of my grandaddy's trust (he died in 1996 but we were not entitled to anything until she passed). They called to tell us that she had died and would be sending paperwork to us. They never have. We are in Texas and they are in Arizona. What if anything can we do in order to figure out why we haven't gotten anything from them or why they are stalling. Should we hire an attorney? What are the time-limits for distributing the contents? Since it was a trust and is under the limit, no taxes or probate is necessary.
