What are the steps to removing previous owner from a foreclosed home. I just bought a foreclosed home in an auction and it is occupied by the debtor/previous owner. How long will it take to get them out. The property is in North Carolina. Thanks

    How long?

Weeks, months, no one can say for sure.

The sooner you file an eviction action, well you know.

Well that was the question. How long does the eviction process take after a foreclosure?

You should assume at least a month, but retaining the services of a local attorney who handles eviction matters would be the smart thing to do.
