Hi... I'm brand new, have just found this forum and I'm hoping it can help me.

I live and work in China but my siblings and I share a house bequeathed to us in England.

We've got a problem - the brother named as executor has done nothing for nine years (!).

I can't afford legal help. I need to know the steps I must go through to have him removed as executor. Can anyone help with this?

I have tried internet legal aid but they tell me they 'don't give advice about such matters....'

I don't seem to be able to make clear to them that I don't want advice. I just want to be told the steps in the same way as one can, nowadays, easily be informed of the steps required to do your own conveyancing.

Such information is surely freely available in all our modern western countries?

That's the second thing I would like help with. If anyone can direct me to some database or such where I can read up on what one must do to do things for yourself it'd be good.

regards to you all.
