employer hired me using false pretenses

Employer hired me for a manger position after several months of talking and information being presented now that I am on board and they have the information that I gave to them. The story is now changed as to what my position really is a supervisor under someone else. I was hired to expand into an area using my knowledge and expertise to be the manager to run the new area. Now I am a supervisor suspended for abandoning my job and insubordination for refusing to work in a capacity that I was told I would be hired for. I was lied to and now realize that all they wanted was information from me so that they could move forward.
