emergency custody hearing

My daughters father was planning on signing over his rights and allowing my husband to adopt her. His mother changed his mind and after not seeing or hearing from him in almost four months he expects me to send her for a whole weekend. Can I file for an emergency custody hearing until a formal one can be heard for modification of custody?

If you have a visitation schedule, you will need to let him have her.
What kind of modification do you want? I don't think you'll get a hearing on an emergency basis without imminent danger to the child. How old is your daughter?
