Can the police force you to take a sobriety test and a breathalyzer just because I was stopped for driving too fast? I gave them no reason to suspect me of a DUI or DWI.

How did they "force" you to take them? Were you given a ticket for speeding? Were you also charged with a DUI/DWI? They generally need probable cause for the tests.

You have no way of knowing what the officer observed, but if the officer reasonably suspected you might be under the influence then the tests are easily justified. It does ot have to be alcohol either- just suspicion of driving while impaired. It could also be from prescription drugs or other illegal drugs. The officer may have smelled something or may have noticed something in your speech, appearance, or demeanor.
You can always refuse sobriety tests. You are not forced to do anything.
