Alcohol & Drugs: DUI, DWI DUI Question

I am a 25 year old who just received a DUI. It was deserved, and I don't want to argue that, but I am concerned about what this means for future employment. I just graduated from college with a physical therapy degree, and I am in the process of looking for jobs. My question is this: is there any way at all to keep this off my record? It was my first offense (except for a speeding ticket I got when I was 16). Ay help on this would be appreciated. Thanks!
