Got a dui in marathon county wisconsin. I work out of town about eight weeks at a stretch and fly home for about five or six days. my pre trial conference is scheduled for september 18, 2008. i need an extension to find and attorney. i'm looking for at least a 90 day extension. do i need to file a notice of motion and motion for extension and is there even such a thing? or can i just write to the judge asking for more time? at this moment i'm doing this on my own so what do i do?
