My mother was a German citizen, born in Germany, when she had me in the US in 1948. She was a war bride who married my dad, a US citizen, in Germany. She came to the US in 1948 after WWII, and a few months before giving birth. Am I eligible for dual citizenship? My mother is still alive, although she became a US citizen in 1953. Thanks for any info!:)

No you are not. Your mother was married to your father prior to your birth, and you were born in the US... you are a US citizen.

Regardless, it is way too late to make such a claim. You have lived your whole live as a US citizen. Efforts to claim dual citizenship would go nowhere.
