My mother was a German citizen, born in Germany, when she had me in the US in 1948. She was a war bride who married my dad, a US citizen, in Germany. She came to the US in 1948 after WWII, and a few months before giving birth. Am I eligible for dual citizenship? My mother is still alive, although she became a US citizen in 1953.
