I recently was offered an internship in the Department of Treasury and they revoked it one week before I started because I have a dual citizenship with Peru and the United States. I was born in the US to Peruvian parents but have lived most of my life in the US. Can they retract a job offer based on the fact that I have a dual citizenship?
