Drag car purchase

I sold a drag car for cash 5 months ago. Today the purchaser calls and states the motor was not good. He wants me to pay him 11,000. Does he have any legal rights since there was no paperwork and no warrenty?

Most private car sales are "as is", "buyer beware"!

If I were you, I'd ignore him.

Only a judge an order you to pay, and only after a trial in which he prevails.
