I got married 9/30/05. Last friday my husband tells me he wants to separate. His attorney advises him to leave the house before a domestic incident arises. I am not working and cannot #1 afford an attorney #2 can't make the bills in the household alone. He told me that he was going to stay to help me get back on my feet, now this, what legal advice can you give me.

Get a job.

You have only been married 7 months whish is much too short to depend on him for any sort of sousal support.

If you file for divorce, the maritral debt is likely going to be split. Both of you should leave the ,arriage with what you brought into it.

Why don't you wotk? Probably a good idea to start supporting yourself and putting money away so you or him can move out.

I am fighting to get my job back. Due to the emotional stress that has been put on me I was hospitalized and removed from duty. My commission was revoked to carry a firearm without that I cant work in my choosen profession.
