Hi,

I had a minor arugument with my wife. My wife discussed this with one of her friends. Her friend called cops on me. They arrested me by charging ' Domestic Violence'. They took mugshot and 10 finger prints from me.
Later my wife didnt pursue the case, the case was dismissed with dispostion saying ' Case dismissed for want of prosecution'.

Later Judge granted me the expungement and case got expunged. I have the FBI/BCI records showing NO records of arrest.

I am on H1b. My wife is on H4. And we applied I485. I work for one of top 5 companies in US. I discussed this with my immigration firm. He told me that he would accompany me in case of an interview. But he didnt give me proper advice/directions.

I disclosed this on my I485 application and also attached the below info.

1. Court disposition letter saying 'DWP - Dismissed for want of prosecution'
2. Expungement letter of non convicted DV case
3. Police record

BUT, do you see any issue with I485?

Appreciate your help.
Kind regards

Since you where not convicted or admitted to guilt, you are okay. It would not affect your petition. You did the right thing by admitting it on your I-485.
