Does my title legally change?

Hello I'm from Canada and I have a question where I'm sure the answer is not but I thought I would check anyways.

I obtained an honorary doctor of divinity degree from an online school which is unaccredited. Does my name change to Dr. joe smith or is it still Mr. joe smith. Can I ever use the term doctor for anything? such as writing a book or anything at all?

I do plan on getting an accredited degree in the long run but I am just curious.

It is your call........Some people do............the law on such rules is not clear. I would rather you don't. You might lose credibility and look like someone who is trying to buy education instead of studying for one.
