Criminal Law Does fighting affect my immigration visa

My brother applied immigration visa for me and my family. We have waited for 10 years and finally receiving letters from the US to prepare some documents. However, my son who is 19 years old was caught fighting with another teenager in a restaurant 6 months ago. He didn't need to go to jail but was sentenced 1 year probation and community services. But still it will be shown on his criminal record. I wonder it will affect his immigration visa going to the US.
