Does anyone know how to reverse a legal separation once its been recorded?

We separated in August with a packet I bought from the local do it yourself legal forms store....well we have both had a change of heart and would like to be legally not-separated. I talked to the courts recorder, who we filed with, and was told that they dont know. Im pretty baffled by this. Does anyone know how we cancel a separation? Thank you in advance.
