My husband died in 2004 and at the time of his death, he was receiving patent royalties from a university. Since then, another patent has been issued in his name. He died intestate, but I didn't go through probate as everything, except the patents, was held jointly. I live in California.

Do I have any rights to receive royalties from his patents? Do I have any other possible rights?

You should inherit his rights as an intellectual property holder. Have you spoken to your estate attorney (or even have one?)
