Do I have to evict my exboyfriend to make him move out?

Hi,
I broke up with my b-friend and asked him to leave my home, he wont go because he says he has no where to go.
How can i legally make him budge?

If you feel threatened in the situation you are in, you can petition for an "order of protection". The local police told me that this was the only way to get an agressive roommate out by the next day without eviction.

Yes but an RO should not be filed just to evict him. I responded to this on another thread. She needs to serve him with an eviction notice.
