I was just fired from my job because I'm black and would not lie to clients to con them out of money. My boss was openly displeased with the less than desirable appearance of blacks and decided to get rid of me when I refused to lie to clients. I have openly vocalized my concern for his mistreatment of clients when he asked me my opinion. He also told me that I had to go because "someone" told him that I said that I was going to sue him. Of course I never said that. While firing me, he stated, "Look at you. You never fit here anyway." I am the only black in the office.

Just so we are clear, there is nothing offensive about my appearance nor my behavior.

There many details to this experience. I just want to know if I possibly have a case. Please advise.

If you believe and can prove you were fired due to your race yes you have a case. You should contact the EEOC as well as an Attorney
