I have a child who is autistic and my boss knew this. I was told by him that I have a choice either my job or my child. He also told me that he knew that hiring me would be a problem.

Your giving very little info. What is reason for choice offer? Is it attendance?

Well, my child started kindergarten and he had some issues that happened at the school. I did ask for permission the day before to go to his school and talk to the teacher. I was given permission. I asked my boss if my child could attend the school where I worked at but he told me no because he doesn't meet the criteria. So that is when he made that awful statement me to over the phone. I am currently still working there but I am acting as if nothing is wrong but I am boiling deep down inside. I have never had any complaints from anyone. If anything he and other employees speak very highly of me. What should I do?
