let me start off by telling everyone i am no angel nor do i claim to be acting as one on any level.
i am 35 years old and live in the state,city of texas ,dallas
(no we all do not have cows and oil derecks in our yards)
i have approximatley 62 ticket on my driving record .all of which are mine and i accept all the rate hikes on my ins for it .
here my problem
back in 1993 i was involved in an accident
i was at work (delivery) and i was struck in the rear of my vehicle
i was making payments on the car at the time and was also paying a little extra so as to have ins on the car .
my " extra " payments didnt make it to the ins co
so when the acc happened .i had no ins...lucky me
okay ----life is life i can deal with it and move on
i go to court .sued of course by the person who hit me ....for not having ins
and lost .....of course
okay ---i can deal with it ...part of life ,right
5800.00 settlement
OUCH ,but okay ...i was at fault for the whole ins thing
so 100.00 a mnonth ,payment plan doesnt sound toooooo bad .

a few years roll by
and i get pulled over
seems that im lat ewith a payment and they have pulled my license .wtf ?

thats a crime where im from....cause i was LATE you gotta be kidding ...

so i go on with life as i know it
well what do you know ................................
i now have 4(four) dwls charges from this
i now owe the ins co 17588.31 as or 12.01.03
(little thing they call interst )they never told me about
and my life seems to revolve aroumd this shit with the dwls 's and my payments to the ins co
im not allowed to get a temp lic .ive tried and i cant get my regular lic back now until this stuff(with the payments) is all cleared up
i just ...last sunday got ANOTHER dwls in garland
i will probably do 180 days in jail for this one
can someone out there please help me get this heavy ass monkey off my back
can i declare bk ,or change my name or move to south america to resolve this


i do make the payments .but if i get even two days late .they pull my lic
then i have to sub forms to austin and etc.etc.etc

The only thing i can add is that 62 tickets is a LOT of tickets. I don't think that this is something that you can take lightly as "I accept responsibility and want to move on" because it means that you violated the law 62 times! Some might view that as generous. I'm not trying to be unsympathetic but it would seem that your license might have been pulled long before this and that your continued driving without a license will not be tolerated. Yes, I know you "need" a license but there is also an issue of our roads needing to be safe and bills paid and drawing the line somewhere.

thanks for input ....i know what ive done and i know it is truely a privage to drive on our roads ,and i dont believe i take them for granted ..

enlight of this micheal ,could you possibly answer my question as stated ....is there a way for me to get my lic back ????

no rudeness implied ,i dont mean to sound or act ungrateful ,but i need the help,have for a long time and noone i talk to can , or will give me a staight answer ..

Your comment about cows is funny... sorry to hear about the car. Have you spoken to anyone locally about this? Honestly, that is a large amount of tickets -- 4 DWIs -- I'm not sure what your expectations are. I'm not sure who would want to be responsible for reducing a sentence and having a serious accident occur as a result. What have you heard so far and from whom?
