My husband has filed for divorce and wants me to sign a quitclaim deed to our house. We have been married one year, during this time he sold a previously owned home and we bought this house with a deposit of 30,000 and have made payments. He insisted that I get rid of everything I own before we married. I have nothing and he has it all. He has withheld our tax stimulus check (he wants to keep) and wants me to pay half the law fees. Do I have a right to any of this?
