Divorce collection not child support

My ex husband is supposed to pay me around 4,500 dollars post divorce. However, the divorce papers didnt say a specific time he needed to pay it, just that he needed to. Is there a set time on when it had to be paid that is followed by everyone? Is he in contempt and how should I go about getting the money he owes me? Thank you!

I don't believe there is a time limit if there is no mention of one in the divorce papers.

You can try taking him to court. Do you have a lawyer you used for the divorce you can talk to?
