I live in Colorado (a No fault divorce state). I married an Iraqi citizen and he came to the US in April on a K-3 visa. We recently filed for Adjustment of Status. So far he has not received a green card, work permit or SS number. His sister recently came to the US and is living in AZ. He has masde it clear that he wants to go stay with her and our marriage has become unbearable and I want a divorce. Can I simply file for the divorce and what would be the ramifications with INS?
