When l left my husband in the USA, and came back to Canada, l brought a leather case of the legal papers l had for immigration because l was not sure if l was going to need them or not.
Turns out my husbands Divorce papers (originals) and Birth Certificate were also in the leather case.
lf l go to Legal Aid to start action for a Divorce could l go ahead because I have his legal papers?????
Also for fear of him finding me could l ask the lawyer/judge to keep my address blanked out or crossed out for fear of husband seeing it???
