What does "buy them out," and who are "them" (you presumably know your spouse's gender)? Are you talking about buying out your spouse's interest in a particular marital asset (e.g., the marital home)?

Any advise?

You don't really think anonymous strangers on the internet can provide you with useful advice about how you (a person we know nothing about) might negotiate with your spouse (another person we know nothing about) for something you haven't clearly described, do you?
