What recourse can I take against a co worker that loses his temper, yells nd screams profane and demeaning names and has also treatened to kick my ass and asked if I want to fight a number of times. In telling our superintendent his side he lies, distorts and even yelling @ the super.

You could beat him into a bloody, heaving, sobbing pulp of a former human being.
However, that could land you in hot water, too.
You can continue to avoid and ignore him.
You can seek new employment, leaving his memory far behind you.
You can call "911" the next time he gets "froggy", and starts selling "wolf tickets".
