I was charged with disorderly conduct and I am not sure exactly what I did because I was drunk. How do I find out exactly why I am being charged- Contact the p.d.? I am from Ohio and it is a minor misdemeanor, which I think does not create a criminal record. I had hoped to apply to medical school- would this be on my "record"? Should I get a lawyer and go to court to contest it? I have never been charged with a crime before, what are the chances a judge would drop it?
