I was on OPT and just expired in July. I have an open case of shoplifting. I have to finish all the community service before December then i will be convicted of disorderly conduct and have to pay a fine. I got married couple months ago and planning to apply for green card asap. How would it affect my chance to get a green card? What's the price range to hire an immigration lawyer for this case?
