I have about 2 or 3 of these.
basically, I got sent to the behavioral center.
I use a insulin pod with enough insulin for a day and a 1/2.
the insulin pod runs out of insulin.
the nurses cannot give me another pod because they don't carry it so they transfer me to syringes.
the syringes are bracket of insulin is delivered differently than the pod.
the sugars are now high for the measures not being the same as the pod. (2 continuous units of insulin, plus the manual calibrated bolus per meals).
i the patient is suffering due to complications of high sugars at the multiroom multi patient county intake facility.
the sugars remain high for the remainder of the stay.
one time, the sugar remained high for so long, that I got ketoacidosis/ketones. and began vomiting and had to be admitted into another hospital.
I have had several of these episodes. I think because of this I can sue for more than 2 million.

how do i find an attorney which can take my case? i can grant them access to my medical records so they can pursue legal action.

2 million might be a stretch, but if the treatment caused him to end up in DKA, this is SERIOUS. There will likely be lasting deficits. He needs to take this to a medical malpractice attorney.
