Deployed to Iraq, having issues with my daughters living conditions with her mother

I'm currently deployed to Iraq with the U.S.Army. I recently found out from my daughter, whom I have joint custody, that she is no longer living with her mother(who has primary residency for my daughter). Instead she is living with her mothers ex-husband(may not be divorced, but do not live together). Also my daughter informed me that she will be going to Canada with this man and his girlfriend for Christmas. Is there anyway that I can stop this immediatly. She has a valid passport that I approved with my signature to visit me in germany. I have remarried and my wife and I want my daughter to live with us (with my wife until I return from Iraq) in AZ.

do I have a leg to stand on in going back to court and do I have any rights under the International Child Abduction Remedies Act?

You may have a chance at custody; however, if her living arrangements are temporary, you may be denied. It's probably worth trying though.

It seems that your daughter is going on vacation with the couple. If your wife agreed, then there is no kidnapping or abduction.
