I signed a debt reaffirmation on an unsercured debt during bankruptcy years ago. I defaulted on the debt reaffirmation a little over 5 years ago. In the state of Va there is a 5 year statute of limitations of written contrcts. does this statute include debt reaffirmations from bankruptcy?

A debt reaffirmation is a promise to pay. The statute of limitations would only begin to run from the time that you defaulted I'm guessing. I'm not 100% sure but can tell you that it definitely doesn't begin running until earliest your default.
