Debt Collector hassle over 2 months old bill

Can a third party debt collection agency worry you over a one month old bill?

No one can worry you unless you allow yourself to worry.

You can block anyone that calls you.

You can send any unwanted emails to your spam folder, never to be annoyed again.

You could always pay the debt in full (or pay to get the debt in good standing), and the creditor's agents will stop hounding you.

There is no law at the federal level or in any state that regulates "worrying."

Past-due is past-due and, except as might concern a possible statute of limitations, it doesn't matter if it's two days, two weeks, two months or two years. A creditor or its designated collection agent or assignee may legally take any steps not prohibited by law to try and collect a past-due debt.
