dealer problems

I recently bought a car on September 13th signed papers and the dealership told me i was aproved for the loan. Five days later they contact me by phone and tell me the lone was denied. I am wanting to know what my rights are in all this? I live in Dayton Ohio. I thought if you signed papers there's a binding contract that you can hold them to. Please help me out Wanna know if there is anything i can do legally.
