I recently been visited by a social worker that made a very incriminating accusation against my son. and now they are saying they need a "forensic" interview, where I am not allowed to be anywhere near the area only the worker, a police officer and a forensic interviewer will be present while it is videotaped. And I am not allowed to know anything about what is said or answered. I need to know is this right or legal or justified? what are my options?

Doesn't matter. CPS has lots of power.

The ONLY chance you have of stopping or controlling this is by hiring a lawyer before it happens.

Or show your son this video and convince him that the ONLY thing he says during the interview is "I won't answer any questions without an attorney" and hope he has enough stones to keep saying it amid threats and cajoling.

He has as much right to an attorney as anybody. PERIOD.
