Database question

    So I was caught at a local drugstore for items I took and costs $50 I was photographed by the LP asked my social security.. Doest that mean Im going to be on the retail database now?

    Not necessarily, but most likely, yes.
    Ask them about it, and if possible negotiate a way (pay) to not be entered.

    It was not wise to post the name in open forum which is why I suggested PM. I wont answer on open forum as this info is closely guarded

    OP, just pay for ALL future items.
    What does it matter if you're in a database, if you decide NEVER to behave poorly?

    Pay for EVERYTHING, the database doesn't matter.

    Just ASSUME you're in the database, and behave properly. No more problems, good luck.

    I believe some employers check the database during background checks. That is the only reason it would matter.

    long as OP does not seek work in retail or with a retailer who subscribes to database it should not be a concern

    And, if OP has gotten his/her name into the database, it's not coming out. So, behave yourself, STOP STEALING, obey our laws; no problems. The bell has been rung. Too late to worry about your reputation now. With a propensity to NOT pay for things, OP might find other vocations anyway.
