D.C. Law and deed of trust

Greetings, I purchased a house in Washington DC in 1997. I was told that my wife and I had to sign a deed of trust, but we were separated since 1993 but it was not legal. She has never lived in the house, or received mail there. Now in 2007 she has filed for divorce. What rights does she have to the house? She lives in Maryland, and has filed in Maryland. One more thing we never got a legal separation.
