Hi I'm 21 years old and I'm trying to get custody of my nephew. My brother is in jail...... he is gone be gone for a while and his mom is not doing what she is suppose to do as a mother .. I do everything I can for him and she have money but she spend it on drugs and I don't want him around that so I need to kno how I go bout doing that

If the child is in danger, then the proper authorities would need to be contacted (DHR). But other than that, you've got no rights.

If the child is being abused physically and/or mentally or being neglected, then contact DHR as suggested. That's what you can do - you can't go get the child. You have no rights in regard to the child.
