My 16 year old son received a citation for curfew violation in Austin, Tx when he was visiting a friend. We live in another town. What will be his punishment? The fine is 172.00. Can i ask for him to be sent to teen court? The hearing is at the municipal court but it is a juvenile appearance docket. Does that mean it is in juvenile court? I dont want him to be on probation. would like a fine, community service, and deferred adjudication. Would an attorney be able to arrange that for us? I don't care how much it costs.
