I was injured on the job in 2002. It was my understanding that my employers (Starbucks Coffee Co.) at the time took responsibility for medical bills procured during the treatment of my injury. I was never contacted about any unpaid bills due to the fact that they were sent directly to my employers address. Recenty it has come to my attention that one of the bills has long since gone into collection under my name. This has created a credit report blemish which has caused me to be denied for a car loan, credit cards, and is now making it difficult for me to move. I have recently paid @ $350. to have it removed from my files. How do I begin to recover my loses?

You need to contact your employer to have this clarified and find out why that particular bill was not taken care of. Tell them that you had to pay $350 to have your credit report cleared and you would like to be refunded. Good Luck!
