Court Appearance Date

I have a citation that says my court date is May 5... I called and the person said I need to go in the friday before MAY 5 (tomorrow) to avaoid a bench warrant. What should I do.

Go in and talk to the clerk of court office. If you don't go they'll blame you for not doing anything about it and you'll have a warrent placed on you. This is the basic philosophy of police and the court, "We're not here to babysit you, it's not anyone's fault but yours."
