I have knowledge of a product that will help thousands of people. This is not my product but not many people know about it.

Say I ask people for contributions in order for me to make this announcement about this companies product. Can I legally make money off this if I don't mention the companies name?

I know this sounds crazy but hypothetically if it worked?

Oh, you might make money if you make such an announcement, but you won't be able to keep much of it after you get sued.

Heck, you might even find yourself sitting in some jail cell awaiting your criminal trial.

You might want to do yourself a favor and keep your mouth closed.
