Copyrights for Math Tutoring Web Client

Hello, I'm thinking of building a web client that would help high school students practice and study for quizes and exams. The site would have a few basic features including the ability to give students practice questions and feedback on their performance. I would start if off as a free website but as it becomes more developed I'm hoping to be able to charge for its use. I'm wondering if I need to worry about infringing on anyones copyrights or patents for doing something like this. Specifically khanacademy has a very developed service that does something similar to what I am planning and I am wondering what types of exclusive rights they or others might have to this sort of service.

Thanks for any help

You might want to talk to a "lawyer" in your area.
