Good day, I am a latinamerican investigator (doing a Master´s degree on international private and comparative law) and i´m doing a paper on "Depecage" (possibility of separating a contract into several parts so each one of those would be submitted to different laws of different States).I´ve read a bit about "issue by Issue " analysis and I wanted to know a few good authors (recognized, since I do not live in the US I don t know wich ones could be reliable) who have investigated or written on the subject. If anyone could help me with that, I would be deeply thanked.
Best Regards!

THE authority on contracts in the US (other than appellate court decisions) is The Restatement (Second) of Contracts.

The following website has parts of it:

RESTATEMENT (SECOND) OF CONTRACTS

You will need to visit a law library to read the whole thing and its updates. I hope your university has one. There are probably other authorities in a law library that speak to the subject.

Beyond that, google depecage and study all the resources.
