Contractor threats "no warranty"

We just purchased a NEW Home. We did not have an inspector inspect the property due to time restraints, but requested a home warranty in the contract. My builder now states that legally she doesn't have to repair or fix anything in our house because we did not do a walkthrough on closing. We are in Alabama. 1) We did a walkthrough the week before closing and submitted a list of items that needed attention. This was taken care of before we closed. 2) We received a Home warranty package at closing that states to notify the builder with 30 days of anything that was not present at the walkthrough. Our closing attorney will not return our phone calls to clairify our rights. Can anyone give me advice?
