Last August 2007, my spousal support was reduced by court order effective October 2007. Since then I've attempted to contact my attorney for nearly 6 months as to why it hadn't been reduced. He stipulated he talked with my wife's attorney and hadn't received a response.
Since my attorney hasn't pushed the issue and my wife's attorney failed to submit the necessary paperwork to reduce my support (6 months). Can one or both of the attorneys be held in contempt?? Should be, if I failed to comply I'm sure the judge would have had :mad me bent over the table.
I'm talking about 6 months worth of overpayment and steadily rising.
