When appointing a conservator for a supposedly incapacited person does the supposed incapacitated party have say in the hearing and or get a notice of the application of conservatorship being sought??

Typically, a petition is filed with the court by the person seeking conservatorship over the respondent, the petition is served on the respondent, and a hearing scheduled by the court.
