I'm curious as to what rights I have as a co-signer. Last year I co-signed for financing a mattress (one year-SAC) and of course the account is now 3 months late and has almost doubled with interest and late charges. Unfortunately, I am currently unemployed but will be paying it off as soon as possible. After its paid, Is it possible to sue the borrower in small claims court and win the case? if i win and the borrower refuses to pay, will his wages be garnished? Please help.

Yes, you just need your proof of payment to the mattress company and your contract that you both signed -- Once you have a judgement you can file for the wage garnishment
